For sale is this very nice 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 Tribute. This car was completely restored from the ground up. Frame was sandblasted and painted black epoxy, so the body, frame, original floors, and original trunk are all solid and in good condition. It also had new body mounts, suspension parts and bushings, fuel and brake lines and components installed. Car has all SS396 badges, 396 Turbo-Jet badges, and Super Sport badges. This Chevelle has the SS hood and, yes, it has a 396ci BBC under that hood. Other items of mention under the hood are a Holley 750 dual feed carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake, HEI ignition with Accel Super Coil, Accel 8.8mm plug wires, heater, power steering, non-power 4-wheel drum brakes, and new ceramic coated headers with performance stainless steel exhaust and mufflers. The big block Chevy under the hood is mated up with a 700R4 automatic transmission and a GM 12-bolt posi. rear end with 3.42 gears. On the exterior, the paint on this car is in very good condition…very smooth with a nice shine. Bumpers are in good condition as well as all other chrome and exterior trim. On the inside, interior is all original and in very good condition. The carpeting, dash pad, front bucket seats and rear seat covers, headliner, etc are all in very good condition. Door panels have been replaced with new ones. This car shifts with a B&M QuickSilver floor shifter. It also has an aftermarket AM/FM/cassette player installed. This Chevelle rolls on all (4) Rally wheels with BFGoodrich Radial T/A 235/60R14’s on all (4) corners. All tires are in good condition as well. This car only has about 1000 miles on it since it was finished and it runs and drives great…LOTS OF POWER. This is definitely a car that any GM muscle car enthusiast would love.
